Terms of use

TaloHunt is a job board. Most listings are collected from public job boards and company career pages; the rest are posted directly by employers. We are not the employer or a recruiter, we don’t take part in hiring, and we can’t promise any listing leads to a job.

We check listings and label who can apply, but jobs change and close without notice. Always confirm the details on the employer’s own page before applying.

• TaloHunt is free for job seekers, and we will never ask you to pay to apply or get hired.
• A real employer will never ask you to pay for training, equipment, “processing” or to receive your salary. If anyone does, stop and report the listing to us.
• Any agreement you make with an employer is between you and them.

When you post a job, you confirm that:

• you’re allowed to hire for the company named;
• the job is real and currently open, and the details are accurate;
• applicants are never charged any fee;
• the listing is legal and doesn’t discriminate, and isn’t for pyramid schemes, “investment” roles or commission-only work presented as a salary.

Prices are shown in naira and paid through Paystack. A Standard listing stays up for 30 days; a Featured listing stays up for 30 days and is pinned to the top for the first 14.

We review every posting before it goes live and may reject or remove any listing that breaks these terms.

• If we reject your posting before it goes live, we refund you in full.
• If we remove a live listing because of our own error, we refund you in full.
• If we remove a listing because it broke these terms, or once a listing has been live, there’s no refund.

Refunds go back to your original payment method through Paystack; how long that takes depends on your bank. To ask about a payment, email hello@talohunt.com with your payment reference.

Some links, such as the Raenest dollar-account link, are partner links. If you sign up through them we may earn a commission, at no cost to you. We only recommend services we think are useful, but your relationship with a partner is under their terms.

Don’t try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, post anything unlawful or misleading, or pretend to be someone else. We may block access for anyone who does.

The TaloHunt name, design and original text are ours. Job listings belong to the employers and sources they came from.

The site is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for decisions made by employers or job seekers, for listings from third parties, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that can’t be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we change them we’ll update the date at the top; continuing to use the site means you accept the new terms. See also our privacy policy.
